Being a vivid and nostalgic photograph, I chose this because it accurately reminded me of my childhood. I used to go to this specific basketball hoop every Friday after school to play with my friends. The angle of which I took this photo as well truly captures the essence of this particular spot, showing the basketball hoop, trees surrounding the park, and, most importantly, the log cabin.
After a long night of rain, I took this photo the next day and enhanced the sharpness and color of the image. It captures a father and son going on a bike ride and contrasting red and blue between the car and the sky.
Near the end of the road at my grandmother's house, I took this picture of the sky. I wanted the viewer to feel accepted by this image by the beauty of this particular sunset. It is rare to see so many colors, so enhanced, in a night sky.
Sharpened and enhanced color-wise, I took this image at the bridge crossing over the little Miami river near the Indian Hill Winter Club. It shows the rain hitting the river, even though there are no clouds in the picture. I feel like this picture, if examined closely, is mysterious and odd in its way.
During a round of golf, I took this photo capturing the clouds in the back. I feel like the addition of the flag of the whole, and the clouds and off-center trees give this picture a kind of flow that is unlike any other photo I took.
I took this photo at the very beginning of the summer, capturing an accurate picture of my cousin. We had just gone on a hike, and he was exhausted; unlike other portrait photos, I feel like this captures the natural look of what he is usually like.
I took this photo while walking up the Vessel in New York City. I felt like this picture captured the city and all of its moving parts. I love this photo because of its colors and how it is capturing the never-ending motion of the city.
I felt like the blending of the sky with the windshield of my car made this picture very interesting. Having a reflection come off of the windshield of my car is unusual, especially because of the angle it comes off as. I also love this image because of the color, with the grey of the sky contrasting with the green and blue.
I used a phone for this reflection photo. Having the grass fall into the reflection makes it seem like the grass is actually giving away into the reflection of the trees and sky.
I feel that the different focus on the camera makes this picture unique and interesting. Having the camera focus on the detail and sharpness of the wooden fence running along the top of the bridge makes the river look, in a way, majestical.
I chose to take this photo because it is what I look at every time I wake up in the morning. I want this to be a relatable photo that people can see and think about how they wake up every morning.
Capturing the geese in motion, moving from one pond to another, makes this photo special to me. The sharpness and beauty of the geese moving across the sidewalk while providing a fast shutter speed to make sure to get the geese in a still position makes this photo unique.
Taking reflective pictures of water is very interesting to me, capturing the movement as it flows into the air. The addition of the color and the sharpness of the clouds makes this image different and vivid.
The use of line and the green color in the entrance of my bathroom makes this picture colorful and different. I like how the line of the doorway and the archway of my bed create two different lines moving through the photo, while also adding to the lines that are in the Cyclones towel.
Capturing my cousin and my brother walking into the ocean on a foggy morning in LongIsland New York makes me feel like I am at home. Long Island is my favorite place in the world, so capturing a moment like this makes it even better, giving a sense of comfort and ease. I wish for the viewer to feel that same feeling as well.
This photo of my grandpa and my grandpa talking before one of their speeches at our annual dinner as a family is natural and special in a way. I do not get many of these kinds of pictures, with the two subject acting normally, like I am not taking a photo of them. The natural view of this photo makes it unique and impressive in my opinion.
